Lots happened in 2016. Thanking the good Lord for all of his blessings. I can see all of the ways he was there for me & my family day in and day out, even when we weren't very deserving. I hope 2017 is half as great as 2016 was.
January
January: we started out with Christmas at Pa & Gigi's; We took a trip with Miss Cole, Addie & Trenton and played in Shreveport; I included a Birthday eve selfie of yours truly. I turned 33; Last photo, we had Kullen's check up on his Brain Cyst @ Children's Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas. He received a great report.
February
February: was a pretty low-key month. We celebrated Valentines Day at school; Adam & I had a stay-at-home Valentines date; We got the house back in order from the Holidays and took a photo of our living area; Minnie & Dino were relaxing; Last photo, Saying goodbye to my very good friend, Lexi and her precious daughter, Annistyn. They left to go to Washington State because her husband is in the Air Force. (Thank you for your Service!)
March
March: March got busy! Spring was in the air! Open house was neat. Reagan made so many neat things to show us; We made the best of spring break by a trip to Memaws which turned bad when Adam hurt his back; We got back in town and went to eat on the -rainiest spring break ever- with the Blue's at IHOP followed by a fun bowling afternoon; Reagan turned "8" and we honored this with a Donut party; Adam & I put it in the books that we were married for 5 years! We had a much needed adult trip to Hot Springs, AR. It was glorious! 5 years!! Wow. Many wonderful times. (Many trying times too!); We ended March with Easter! We celebrated our Lord! He is Risen!!
April
April: Reagan not only lost on of her front teeth, she lost both this month; Kullen, Reagan & I took a record number of trips to the park. The weather was beautiful and we made the best of it; Reagan finally had her first appointment at Scottish Rites. She was seen at the Luke Waites Center for Dyslexia. She had some testing on her disabilities. It was a truly amazing experience. Well worth the wait; Reagan and her friend, Brooklyn began tumbling classes; April ended with my good friend Stacey treating me to a Carrie Underwood concert where we may or may not have drooled over Carrie's attire. 😍
May
May: We visited FBC Maud in a quest to find a new church home. It was sad to leave Oakridge, but we felt as if God was pulling us in another direction; Reagan and her friend Brooklyn had a great time at their 2nd grade field trip; Kullen did great at the end of the year Band concert; I got the call I had waited on since November 2015. Judge Miller hired me as his Court Coordinator in the 5th District Court. Excited was an understatement, I knew God led me to this job. It was no accident. Being a Court Coordinator was and had been my dream; Last photo, donuts for the last day of school!
June- almost halway!
June: Change! I got my hair chopped off! 10 inches GONE; June was a tragic month for our family. We had some construction done on our house and Minnie either a) got abducted or b) ran away. She went missing June 15th; Alyssa was our babysitter, she was amazing. She took the kids on outings as well as Tutor Reagan all summer; We had a family day outing to the water park in Texarkana to beat the dog days of Summer; Lastly, Kullen went to band camp at Henderson State.
July
July: Alyssa continued to take the kids on adventures; Reagan chopped 8 inches of her hair off and donated it to Pantene; Adam rescued Rockwell "Rocky" Ragland aka Ears McGee or Rock McGee from the middle of the road. He quickly became a family hit especially since we were grieving our Minnie; Family days were spent at Olive Garden; Alleigh came over to spend the night; Lastly, the Aldridge's came over to visit and Stacey made her famous banana pudding! Yummmm.
August
August: Adam spent the entire month of August on a business trip in Ohio; Before he left we celebrated Roy's 70th birthday; Reagan won Most Spirited at the Maud Little cheer clinic; Youth little league Cheer began; We went back-to-school shopping with Aunt Angie in Longview. We had a great time. She treated us like royalty; School began; Reagan posed with Carlee at meet the Cardinal Ice Cream social.
September
September: Adam arrived home from Ohio; Reagan cheered for the Cardinals at their first home game; I got new glasses; Reagan, my MIL Pam & I attended Bethany's baby shower getting ready for the arrival of sweet Emersyn; Kullen and I had a mother son day date; Kullen helped me decorate the porch for fall; Annual SYATP was very moving; Lastly, September ended with a girls trip to I love the 90's hip hop concert. Vanilla Ice touched our hands!! 🤗
October
October: whew..October was bumpy....... Both of my children were very sick; I got no sleep pretty much the entire month. (Which makes for a crazy Mandi!) Cheer was full force. It was overwhelming to say the least; We pulled through. Reagan finally got better and we were able to carve pumpkins and celebrate Halloween with my side of the family.
November
November: I voted! Adam & I had a date day in Canton; Adam & Kullen went on a boys hunting trip in Sweetwater, Texas.;My little cheerleaders won First Place at Competition in Dekalb, Texas; Emersyn my great neice was born! My friend Crystal & I coached All-stars; Thankgiving break we got to see Becki Jo & Landry; Adam & I enjoyed Thanksgiving & Black Friday shopping in Longview.
December
December: A fun and busy month! Lots of Christmas dinners & parties; Kullen's 14th Birthday party was a delight; Holiday baking; Lots of photography sessions; Jammy Cocoa Christmas (inspiration by Shay Shull Mix&MatchMama blog); Love & hugs with Emersyn at her first Christmas; Trans Siberian Orchestra with Adam, his dad Jim & Miss Jan; We had a very Merry Christmas!

Whew. That's all folks! 2016 is about to wrap up. Im in such pain, I do think im going to go soak in a bubble bath. Hey, Doctor's orders. Gotta follow them. 😉
