finally, Christmas pics....

I am just now getting around to posting pictures...Sorry for the delay, I have been so busy here lately. ;)

We are blessed to say that we had a very Merry Christmas!

Doctor called...........

She said my glucose test was fine. At two months I was anemic. I have been taking an iron pill in addition to my prenatal vitamin. She said that my iron was stull wayyyy low so now I have to take an iron pill in the morning, prenatal at noon, and iron pill at night!! No wonder I have been feeling really bad lately. Being that anemic can make you tired and have headaches. Hopefully I will start feeling better soon!

SeVeN MtH cHeCk-Up

Yesterday, I went for my check up at 9:45. I had to drink the yucky super sweet orange drink. Sorta like Sunkist x 4! It was gross, but I managed to gulp it down. I felt a little uneasy after drinking it but nothing too bad. An hour later, I almost passed out when the lady came into the waiting room and yanked my are up and proceeded to take my blood. I felt dizzy and broke into a cold sweat.....sheesh! Anyway, had a bigger jump in weight this time. Not to bad at all, the doc just remined me that the Holidays were over and to get back on my normal eating routine. I asked her if I was having twins or a huge baby or something because everyone seems to think I am huge, which I am in the belly. She ensured me that my weight and measurements were right on the money. She told me to tell everyone that pregnant woman come in all shapes and sizes. I just so happen to be one who carries all out front. She said it definately has its positives and negatives. Positive being that my hiney isnt spread from here to china and I dont have alot of extra everywhere else, Negative being that my back will hurt (and it has been, my sciatic nerve kills me) and stretch marks, since I already know how badly I got them with Kullen. I have been lathering myself in four different lotions so maybe that will help! Because of my history with preterm labor and the pressure already on my cervix, she is going to see me every two weeks now, and she will start checking me. Here is where modesty takes the back burner and about fifty people see your stuff--oh well, better to be safe than sorry. If there is a problem I would like to know ahead of time and not when it occurs. I talked to her also about my swelling. My blood pressure was fine and there was no protien in my urine, so that rules out preeclampsia or however its spelled, lol But she said I should walk a little, (not power walk or walk alot) just a few laps to have a little exercise. I am going to go the Highway dept and walk a few laps after work everyday. She also said to watch sodium!!! I will be a busy girl, getting things ready for her big arrival and being as healthy as I can be! Everyone keep your fingers crossed that my cervix holds up!!! ;)

24 Weeks

6mth Baby Update!

Yesterday, I had my 6mth check-up. It was at 2:30 and I didn't even get back to nearly 4! The office was insane, people were everywhere, pregnant woman were grumpy....and so on....I didn't complain though. I think something about the holidays makes offices and people in general lose thier dang minds...Anyway, everything with the baby was great. I only gained three pounds..Which is wonderful! I hope to keep up the good work...She is going to start checking me at 30 weeks since I had preterm labor with Kullen. She doesn't think that it will happen to me again, but she wants to check just to be on the safe side. The Baby's heart rate was 140bpm. She has been moving and stretching alot here lately...Mainly after I eat....Probably because everything I eat including french fries have to be eaten with jalapeño peppers!!!!

My new house!

It's a Girl!!

I'm so excited!! God has really blessed me beyond belief!! I just had a feeling it was, but then again, I wanted a little girl so bad I thought I was just telling myself that. She is 11oz and about as long as a banana!! ;) Everything looks great!! I have only gained 3 lbs and the doc said that was great!! Kullen was so excited! He can't wait to meet his little sister!! ;)

Mistletoe Fair Fun!

On Saturday, November 17, 2007 we went the The Mistletoe fair with Kayte and Tasha!! Kayte had a dance recital and was sooo adorable!! Kullen got to sit in Santa's lap and tell him what he wanted Santa to bring him. He said a "Drive Board Truck" What he was meaning was a little Dodge Ram Truck with 4 wheel drive! Isn't that so cute! I had a blast, but this lil' mommy was wore smooth out!

Baby Adalyn has arrived!

Adalyn was born shortly before 3 pm and BREATHING ON HER OWN! Isn't God amazing! She is a mere 3 lbs 11 ozs. Sara is doing fine as well!!

Sara & Baby Adalyn!!

My good friend Sara was to be due December 22. Last night, Sara went to the hospital with severe pains. Sara & Baby Girl Adalyn were air-lifted to Baylor Hospital in Dallas. She was diagnosed with severe preeclampsia- high blood pressure in pregnant women. Adalyn be born about 5 weeks premature. They are doing a c-section in about an hour!! I think everything will be okay with her and the Baby but please keep them in your prayers. The power of prayer is awesome!!!!!!!

On Thursday, November 8, 2007, I had a terrible fall in the shower! I am okay, the baby is okay but I feel like I was ran over by a Mack truck... I am hoping the soreness will fade in a few days...

Knife craze

Kullen's newest craze is pocket knives...He and I went to the Cullen Baker Fair in Bloomburg, Texas this weekend with Aunt Gretchen. We had a blast. We met up with some friends, Tracey and David Bingham and thier son, Connor. You and Connor were attached at the hip. He is about a year or two older than you and into boy stuff including knives. They had a booth set up that had knives displayed. Connor's dad bought Connor and Kullen both a real knife. He explained all the rules and how to be "big" with the knife and Kullen thinks it is the coolest thing. Now for his birthday he wants some boots. I think we might be into a "Cowboy" stage. Which is fine with mommy. Much better than power rangers! I just love you and can't believe you are almost five. The years have flown and you will always be mommys baby no matter what.

Mommy feels it!

For about a week now, I have been feeling the little one kick! It is getting more regular and alot stronger! It is such a neat feeling, basically it is undescribable! I have two weeks to find out what it is.....I can't hardly wait. I know everyone around me can't either.

Halloween '07

We had a blast this Halloween! Kullen insited on being a Power Ranger so I let him, even though I do not like them! I would have rathered him be some sort of animal or something....He loved it and thought he looked real strong. He would walk up to people doors, knock, say" Trick or Treat, look at my muscles." He is such a mess...... I look bad in the pic of he and I, but he wanted me to take one with him so I will post it. ;)
