6mth Baby Update!

Yesterday, I had my 6mth check-up. It was at 2:30 and I didn't even get back to nearly 4! The office was insane, people were everywhere, pregnant woman were grumpy....and so on....I didn't complain though. I think something about the holidays makes offices and people in general lose thier dang minds...Anyway, everything with the baby was great. I only gained three pounds..Which is wonderful! I hope to keep up the good work...She is going to start checking me at 30 weeks since I had preterm labor with Kullen. She doesn't think that it will happen to me again, but she wants to check just to be on the safe side. The Baby's heart rate was 140bpm. She has been moving and stretching alot here lately...Mainly after I eat....Probably because everything I eat including french fries have to be eaten with jalapeño peppers!!!!

My new house!

Here are a few pics of my new house! They do it no justice, because it is much cuter in person!! I can't wait to get all moved in- and stay a loonngg time. ;) Some of the pics did not turn out so well because my battery was going dead on my camera...you get the general idea though!!

It's a Girl!!

I'm so excited!! God has really blessed me beyond belief!! I just had a feeling it was, but then again, I wanted a little girl so bad I thought I was just telling myself that. She is 11oz and about as long as a banana!! ;) Everything looks great!! I have only gained 3 lbs and the doc said that was great!! Kullen was so excited! He can't wait to meet his little sister!! ;)

Mistletoe Fair Fun!

On Saturday, November 17, 2007 we went the The Mistletoe fair with Kayte and Tasha!! Kayte had a dance recital and was sooo adorable!! Kullen got to sit in Santa's lap and tell him what he wanted Santa to bring him. He said a "Drive Board Truck" What he was meaning was a little Dodge Ram Truck with 4 wheel drive! Isn't that so cute! I had a blast, but this lil' mommy was wore smooth out!

Baby Adalyn has arrived!

Adalyn was born shortly before 3 pm and BREATHING ON HER OWN! Isn't God amazing! She is a mere 3 lbs 11 ozs. Sara is doing fine as well!!

Sara & Baby Adalyn!!

My good friend Sara was to be due December 22. Last night, Sara went to the hospital with severe pains. Sara & Baby Girl Adalyn were air-lifted to Baylor Hospital in Dallas. She was diagnosed with severe preeclampsia- high blood pressure in pregnant women. Adalyn be born about 5 weeks premature. They are doing a c-section in about an hour!! I think everything will be okay with her and the Baby but please keep them in your prayers. The power of prayer is awesome!!!!!!!

On Thursday, November 8, 2007, I had a terrible fall in the shower! I am okay, the baby is okay but I feel like I was ran over by a Mack truck... I am hoping the soreness will fade in a few days...

Knife craze

Kullen's newest craze is pocket knives...He and I went to the Cullen Baker Fair in Bloomburg, Texas this weekend with Aunt Gretchen. We had a blast. We met up with some friends, Tracey and David Bingham and thier son, Connor. You and Connor were attached at the hip. He is about a year or two older than you and into boy stuff including knives. They had a booth set up that had knives displayed. Connor's dad bought Connor and Kullen both a real knife. He explained all the rules and how to be "big" with the knife and Kullen thinks it is the coolest thing. Now for his birthday he wants some boots. I think we might be into a "Cowboy" stage. Which is fine with mommy. Much better than power rangers! I just love you and can't believe you are almost five. The years have flown and you will always be mommys baby no matter what.

Mommy feels it!

For about a week now, I have been feeling the little one kick! It is getting more regular and alot stronger! It is such a neat feeling, basically it is undescribable! I have two weeks to find out what it is.....I can't hardly wait. I know everyone around me can't either.

Halloween '07

We had a blast this Halloween! Kullen insited on being a Power Ranger so I let him, even though I do not like them! I would have rathered him be some sort of animal or something....He loved it and thought he looked real strong. He would walk up to people doors, knock, say" Trick or Treat, look at my muscles." He is such a mess...... I look bad in the pic of he and I, but he wanted me to take one with him so I will post it. ;)

Quad Screen Results

For those of you who don't know what this test is here is a brief description:

The quad screen measures high and low levels of AFP, abnormal levels of hCG and estriol, and high levels of Inhibin-A. The results are combined with the mother's age and ethnicity in order to assess probabilities of potential genetic disorders.
High levels of AFP may suggest that the developing baby has a neural tube defect such as spina bifida or anencephaly. However, the most common reason for elevated AFP levels is inaccurate dating of the pregnancy.
Low levels of AFP and abnormal levels of hCG and estriol may indicate that the developing baby has Trisomy 21(Down syndrome), Trisomy 18 (Edwards Syndrome) or another type of chromosome abnormality.

My Doctor's office called today and my test was NEGATIVE, which means that everything is fine! I am so happy, these sort of test make me nervous.

4 mth BaBy update...

Well my little baby is doing great! he/SHE is about 5inches long and heart beat is very good and strong 157bpm! I had to get blood drawn for the quad screen which made me very weak since i'm already anemic anyhow. I also had to get the Flu Shot and I swear my arm is worthless even today.....I had lost some weight, actually quite a bit, but it is normal and everything is fine!! Check this out...When I went to the desk to schedule my sonogram and next appt. thier was only ONE appt. left before Thanksgiving (which would be time for my check up) if I wouldn't have gotten that appt. I would have had to wait 6wks instead of 4wks!!! You all know I would have WIGGED out!! Anyway, Sonogram is scheduled for Tuesday, November 20, 2007!! (I will be 5mths) Keep your fingers and toes crossed that the little booger shows its goods off!

I haven't posted in a while, shame shame~!

I am so sorry I have not posted a blog in a while. Things have been so hectic! So I will fill you in a little on what has been going on with Mr. Kullen and the new little one. Kullen has started a school called Kidz-a-palooza. He hates it! He does have a little girlfriend named Presley. He told Miss Presley the other day that he was going to buy her some ear rings and matching shoes!! His favorite things to do are: go to wal-mart and buy a toy, play with his dog "Tuffy", watch Spongebob or any other cartoon on Nick, annoy Aunt Gretchen, and he always wants to go to Baby Kale's house because "he loves him and have never seen him" as he says. He has been getting a little attitude here lately, but I'm sure it is just a stage. We recently moved to my Dad's house in Maud, and he is super happy about it. I'm sure he and Pawpaw will have a blast together!

As far as the little one,

my second doctor's appointment went well. (3 months) I heard the baby's heartbeat via doppler 152bpm. My weight was perfect, blood pressure good the only thing is that I am anemic. Nothing that a horse pill looking vitamin taken every nite can't cure.

I will make sure to be posting things on here so that I can keep up with stuff and so can you! ;)

1st Doctor's Appointment

On Tuesday, August 28, 2007 I had my first visit with Dr. Bingham in Texarkana. She was awesome! I have been having morning sickness really bad and she gave me Zofran to ease the symptoms and it completely knocked them out! I feel alot better. I had an Ultrasound done and I could see the tiny heartbeat beating 171bpm. I was 8 weeks that day, so I am due April 10, 2008!! Kullen and Gomaw went with me to the doctor and had a blast..Kullen had alot of questions, of course.

Oh, the pencil test say's "It's a girl", although its just a wives tale. Hope it turns out right. Keep your fingers crossed. hehe

Big Brother, KULLEN!!

Kullen will be a big brother in April!! He is so excited!! Shortly after he learned the big news we made a trip to Wal-mart where he was buying his "Sister" everything he could find!!!!!! Hope it is a girl, or he will be sooo disappointed. But he will love it no matter what!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
